A series of awesome projection mapping effects are used to create thrilling visuals in Fliptrix’s latest video, Polyhymnia. Not only do the effects look great, but imagine the cost of production had these effects been done in post! As a testament to the video, even the youtube comments are positive (has this ever happened before?).

It’s not stated which projection mapping software(s) were used to create the effects, but if you have the urge to try this out at home, many of these effects can be created in standard tools such as MadMapper, HeavyM, or other consumer-grade software. The visuals also reminded me of the Illumiroom project, where your living room is transformed into an alternate reality all with projected light.
