Crayola’s Toy Projector

Crayola’s Toy Projector

Happy New Year to all! We’ve seen truly remarkable projection mapping in 2014, and we know that 2015 is going to be even better!

Through the holiday buzz, we caught a glimpse of Crayola’s Projector Light Designer (which has been out for a while now, but slipped through our nose). This handy toy projects hand drawn pictures on walls and resembles an overhead projector you may remember from your days in elementary school. It works by way of an LED light source with some optics to help re-project a laminate image.

On Crayola’s website — the Projector Light Designer sells for $22.99. We’re always big fans of seeing projection make its way to end consumers in any form. This is sure to be a great educational experience for parents and kids. Fun fun!
