Time-lapse Meets Projection Mapping to Commemortate the Glencoe Massacre

Projection mapping is usually paired with EDM, and energetic frantic visuals. Here Double Take Projections have used projection mapping to create a serene and reflective environment, remembering the 300th anniversary of the Jacobite uprising. Double Take projected Sir Walter Scott’s poem about the Glencoe Massacre onto the Scottish countryside.

“We felt it was important to mark the Massacre of Glencoe and the part it played in the 1715 Jacobite uprising, particularly in this 300th anniversary year. I’ve always been interested in history but recognized the need to do something a bit different to get people’s attention and raise awareness of this chapter in Scotland’s history.” – Steven McConnachie, Director of Double Take Projections
