Sustainable Development Goals Light Show At UN Headquarters

Recently, the UN set forth 17 sustainable development goals.  In an attempt to bring these goals to the world, the UN’s Headquarters in New York hosted a fabulous display of projection mapping on the outside of its building.  Made a reality by 59 Productions and Richard Curtis, each of the UN sustainable development goals were brought to life, in turn, on the outside of the building with information and images specific to that goal.  Bringing together people for such an event, communicating these goals that we can all work towards keeping our world healthy and clean, was done through the magical medium of projection mapping.

The end of the presentation urges the viewers these goals are “for everyone, everywhere.  Tell everyone.  Let’s get the job done.” The spectacle was designed to be “part campaign film, part educational resource and part celebration, presenting the Global Goals in an accessible and visually exciting way.”
